Friendly Match - Pinner Hill vs. RubyM's - Wed

We were blessed with the
weather and we had a very good turnout both for the golf and the evening meal
that followed.
On the golf front, we had 5
matches and the overall result was a drawn match. Two wins on both side and one
match was halved.
There was a sixth match and
that was deemed a drawn match as one of the competitors had to retire hurt.
Birdies and eagles were
galore in all the other matches and Nicky also managed an Eagle on the long Par
5, 5th hole.
The evening was a complete
success. We had no less then 35 people attending the evening meal (golfers,
partners and friends) at RubyM’s and the Umesh put on a superb meal. We have been invited back to Pinner Hill Golf Club for a re-match and we are also
thinking of making this a bi-annual contest every year.
