RUBYM’S Doubles Matchplay COMPETITION for 2010
- This competition is open to all members.
- The members will be spilt into 2 equal groups by their Handicaps.
- Group “A” will contain low handicappers. Group “B” the rest.
- Each Pair will consist of a member from each group.
- The Entry fee is £5 per person, with all proceeds to go to the winning pair at the end of the season
RubyM’s Pairs Knock Out H/C Rules:
- 3/4 Hcp difference between each player compared to the lowest handicapper. e.g
- Team 1 (player A = h/c 10 & player B = h/c 20)
- Team 2 (player C = h/c 12 & player D = h/c 24)
- So player A plays of scratch.
- Player B receives 8 strokes Player C receives 2 strokes
- Player D receives 18 strokes
- The better ball of each pair would decide the outcome on each hole (matchplay)
.Rules for Arranging both Singles and Doubles KO Matches
- Home players give 3 “reasonable” dates
- If the dates are not agreeable between the parties, then the winning name(s) must be given to the committee 1 day before the Next RubyM’s event
- If no names are forthcoming, both parties will be DQ’ed.
- Names Given to the Committee will be Final and no changes allowed.
- The cost of the round will be split equally between all players, for both singles and doubles.
